Responsibilitie s:
  • Breaking up old asphalt, preparing surfaces for new repairs or installations.
  • Minor drainage repairs and structure repairs
  • Shoveling, raking, and spreading hot asphalt to the correct grade and thickness.
  • Using tools to smooth and compact the asphalt for proper adherence and a quality finish.
  • Operating hand and power tools for tasks such as cutting, breaking, and cleaning.
  • Performing routine maintenance on tools and equipment and cleaning the job site.

Qualifications :

  • 2+ years of asphalt experience repairs
  • Driver’s license, MA DOT physical card, OSHA10
  • 1+ years with infrared or asphalt repairs
  • Team player with strong communication skills
  • The ability to perform physically demanding tasks like lifting, pulling, and carrying materials in various weather conditions.
  • Listening carefully to instructions and following them exactly to ensure quality work.

Travel:

  • This position is for a secondary travel crew which is based out of Plainville, Massachusetts but requires work to be done throughout the east coast. Travel 60% of time, local work 40%
