Job Description

Our client, a prestigious Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a Senior Policy Advisor with 10+ years of experience to join its Health Policy team within the nationally recognized Lobbying & Public Policy practice .

Key Qualifications:

• Deep experience with policy issues and legislation affecting the health care and life sciences sector.
• Background working on Capitol Hill , ideally with congressional committees of jurisdiction for health policy.
• Experience at an executive branch agency of jurisdiction is strongly valued and may substitute for Capitol Hill experience.
• Bachelors degree required ; advanced degree (JD or Masters) strongly preferred.
• Outstanding academic record and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated alignment with the firms core values: future-focused, diversity-minded, dedicated to excellence, service-oriented, and collaborative.

The firms Lobbying & Public Policy group combines a top-tier lobbying practice with the resources of a full-service law firm . The Health Policy team is nationally recognized for its experience navigating legislative and regulatory matters across the health care and life sciences industries. Many of its practitioners have served in high-ranking positions on Capitol Hill and within federal agencies , bringing deep insights and trusted relationships to client work.

The team partners with a wide range of stakeholdersincluding drug and biologics companies, medical device and technology manufacturers, hospitals, and health care systems to develop strategic advocacy approaches and build effective alliances. Advisors work closely with clients to advance their interests before Congress, federal agencies, advisory bodies, and other key policy influencers.
