As a Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in the hiring process by filling client orders with quality candidates and ensuring their smooth transition to the job site. This position requires a proactive and enthusiastic approach to identifying and recruiting skilled candidates, often with urgency. You'll work closely with HR, Payroll, and related departments to ensure accurate completion of required documentation while collaborating effectively with your team to achieve organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Process employee applications and ensure new hire paperwork (Application, I-9, W-4, Direct Deposit, Health Benefits, Client Onboarding Documents) is completed

• Utilize Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to run reports, identify candidates, update employee records, and complete onboarding

• Use various recruiting tools such as job posting platforms and text messaging software

• Conduct pre-employment qualifications (background checks, drug tests, reference checks, certifications, etc.)

• Actively engage with candidate leads to build a talent pipeline

• Leverage your network and establish relationships to source top candidates

• Create accurate and compliant job descriptions

• Review resumes, conduct pre-screening and second interviews, and assist with resume creation as needed

• Write submittal paragraphs highlighting candidate qualifications

• Coordinate and schedule interviews between clients and candidates; provide interview coaching when necessary

• Extend job offers and negotiate terms of employment when applicable

• Support the payroll process, including hours collection, reconciliation, and distribution

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

• Proven experience in recruiting (staffing agency or in-house) or customer service

• Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to resolve conflicts and interact with diverse individuals

• Highly organized with excellent multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Teams, Outlook) with intermediate computer skills

• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards, and other sourcing tools

• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills

• Ability to assess candidate qualifications, think critically, and make informed hiring recommendations

Pay

$19.00–$21.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
