Guaranteed Hours: 35 per week
Schedule: Sunday – Saturday (Full week availability required)
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time contract assignment. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitation services to patients within a clinical or long-term care environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans to improve patient mobility, strength, and functional ability.
Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, range-of-motion activities, and other interventions as directed.
Monitor patient progress and communicate observations to the supervising Physical Therapist.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient treatments and progress notes.
Support patient education on exercises, mobility safety, and overall rehabilitation goals.
Ensure all therapy equipment is used safely and maintained in good working order.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient care plans.
Adhere to facility policies, professional standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Active state license or eligibility as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) .
Prior experience in a rehab, outpatient, SNF, or long-term care setting preferred.
Strong clinical judgment with the ability to follow treatment plans accurately.
Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
Ability to work a full-week rotating schedule as required by the assignment.
