Description We are looking for a dedicated and personable Patient Service Representative to join our healthcare team in Roanoke, Virginia. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering excellent service to patients and visitors while supporting administrative operations in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an opportunity to grow within the healthcare industry. Responsibilities: - Welcome patients and visitors warmly, creating a positive and detail-oriented atmosphere. - Accurately register patients, verify insurance details, and update medical records as necessary. - Manage scheduling, confirmations, and patient follow-up appointments to ensure seamless operations. - Collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative teams to optimize patient flow. - Uphold strict confidentiality of patient information in accordance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies. - Address patient concerns with empathy and escalate issues to the appropriate team when needed.
