A forklift operator is responsible for safely moving, loading, and unloading materials in warehouses, factories, or construction sites using forklifts and related equipment. Their role ensures efficient material handling, workplace safety, and smooth logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and industrial trucks to move, stack, and organize goods
• Load and unload deliveries from trucks, trailers, or containers
• Transport materials to designated storage areas or production lines
• Inspect forklifts daily to ensure safety and proper functioning
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and deliveries
• Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and damage to goods
• Assist with routine warehouse tasks such as packaging, labeling, and organizing stock

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
• Ability to lift heavy loads and work in physically demanding environments
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and hazard management
• Good communication skills for coordinating with team members

Compensation

$$21.25 Per Hour
